We ran a feature in the magazine looking at the ride differences between a carbon and an alloy frame. We received a heap of feedback about the article, and so we thought we'd head back out to the trails on our two identical custom built Santa Cruz's and compare their riders a little closer |

Check out my latest video now! A Hill in Spain chronicles my recent trip to Malaga and the surrounding hills where I found this gem of a trail with help from top photographer Victor Lucas.
Unsure of what I would find out there, I took my “anything” bike the Mongoose Nugget. What I did find was an incredible, rocky hill side with some fantastic trails.

A hard crash at Crankworx left Jonathon Simonetti with a broken back. This left him off of his bike for a few months. Finally, he has reached his full recovery and is ready to bomb some trails and send some jumps. This is a video to show his progress and to let you all know that Jonathon Simonetti is back. With winter looming in Jackson, I went out to get a downhill lap on the Lithium trail on Teton Pass before any more snow piled up. One awesome evening lap lead to another the next morning...which in turn brought on a few more laps throughout the week. A few hundred bike-hike intervals later with my GoPros and I've got solid documentation of one of the best downhill trails in the US.

FASTFOKUS team travel to different countries and film with different pro riders on their favourite tracks. This is episode 4 with Geoff Gulevich in british Columbia, Canada. I would like to say thank you to Adidas Eyewear, Spank and Shimano France for their support in this adventure, and particularly Scott, Marzocchi and Chatel Bike Park. Without them this project would have never been possible.
